NETRA (नेत्र)
This class of professionals are best suited for low-risk areas. The
primary objective of these professionals is monitoring and reporting
incidents. They can also be leveraged to guide about policies and
procedures of your organization so that people can adhere to them.
(कृतहस्त)
This class of professionals are best suited for medium-risk areas. They
are effective at positions that have risks of thefts and burglary. The
professionals of this class are trained to use basic technical devices
that can help in coordination and mitigation if such incidents.
VAIŚĀRADA (वैशारद)
This class of professionals are for high-risk areas. The professionals
of this class are trained for effectively handling positions that are
prone to risks of unruly mobs or antisocial elements. These
professionals either come from military or highly skilled martial arts
background.

The eligibility for a professional to be included in any Service Class is determined by the level of training, experience and performance of the individual. Each individual is rated as Ayukt, Netra, Kṛtahasta or Vaiśārada under each of the services that are offered. Ayukt implies ineligibility of the professional in that skill while Vaiśārada is for experts.
Inception of Puma Security Services Pvt. Ltd (PSS) is a story of transformation of adversity into opportunity. In 1987, labor union crisis paralyzed Dalmia group’s OCL India Ltd (formerly Orissa Cement Ltd) - the pioneer of cement industry in India. Due to risk to both property and life, and the existing security apparatus was in absolute breakdown. When all existing options failed, the company entrusted the task of restoration of order and security to Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh – a close aid of the company. With his excellent inherent crisis management skills, he formed a team of strong and dependable professionals in no time and was not just able to bring the situation under control but was also able to resume the regular functioning of the industry.
Inspired with this success, he founded PSS in the same year. The company was registered as Private Limited company in April 1997. PSS was fostered into a professional security services company by Shri R. A. Pathak, an ex-army officer and security manager at OCL India Ltd. Since then, many professionals have played vital roles in shaping the company as one of the most trusted security providers today.
As an organization, it has always been our endeavor to stress on quality rather than volume of our operations.
